Folk Angel was formed on a cold night in October of 2009. Our desire as a band is to make known the greatness of Jesus Christ and to exalt Him through the music that we create. We write and rearrange traditional Christmas songs, and through that creative process, we retell the Gospel story that illuminates all things.

Sarah Seay majored in English and minored in Education at the University of Texas in Austin. She currently lives in Dallas and is a mother to three lovely children -- Margaret, George, and Elizabeth.

Artist and native Texan, Melissa Stinson Ellis, specializes in oil paintings and pencil drawings. Her distinct use of color is apparent in all of her work, from large-scale contemporary abstract paintings to beautiful and unique nature pieces.

Lizza Connor will release her first children’s album, Commander Salamander, this fall. The whimsical CD, inspired by Connor’s foray into parenthood, is comprised of 13 original songs promoting healthy lifestyle, positive self-esteem, nutrition and physical activity.

Trumpeter Dennis Gonzalez is a visual artist, broadcaster, writer, educator, linguist/translator, and world traveler who has recorded 45 CD's, 10 LP's, and one 7" as a leader for European and American jazz labels.

Kent is Chief Creative Officer of Edmund Pevensey, LLC and Executive Producer at BFM Creative, a boutique video production agency. Prior to Edmund Pevensey and BFM Creative, Kent served as an award-winning Creative Director for The Pursuant Group, worked as a Creative for Apple Inc, and produced Between Notes, an iTunes top 10 independent film

Jason Illian is the Founder and CEO of Rethink Books, a dynamic social e-book company which focuses on connecting people around books. Their flagship technology, Bookshout!, allows people to read together, engaging and interacting around content across multiple devices and platforms. 

Cliff is a Dallas architect whose work has been honored at the local and national levels. His background includes working with the late Dallas modernist Bud Oglesby, serving as principal with Design International, and he now has his own practice.

Cary Pierce is a producer, singer-songwriter and performer. His mission is to connect with millions of people and make their lives better through his music, performance and production. His songs and co-writes have appeared on almost 4 million records

Born in Dallas, Texas, Courtney Miles received a BFA from Texas Christian University in 2001 and an MA, in 2009, and an MFA, in 2010, from the University of Dallas. A former high school art teacher, Courtney “quit her day job” to pursue making art full time.

Sean Carter is a singer, songwriter and worship leader from Dallas, Texas. His raw, honest, passionate approach to conveying story, truth, and struggle through lyric and soundscape has impacted audiences for over a decade in the Dallas area.

Austin considers himself a technician that understands how to capture the splendor in the Creation around him. He has traveled to over 40 different countries in the last three years and has worked with numerous non-profit and faith-based organizations to help them better cast their vision worldwide.
