Artist Feedback
Art House Dallas offers recurring Feedback Workshops to artists of all disciplines who desire to improve their work and deepen their creative community with action and intention. Anyone who has explored the creative process understands the value of feedback. Exposing our “works in progress” to the critique of our peers certainly takes courage, but feedback can also take our creative endeavors from average to excellent. Art House Dallas wants to provide an encouraging environment within a small group setting to explore your strengths and potential areas of growth as an artist. Groups will always be limited to 4 to 6 and Art House will provide facilitators who have exhibited a track record of success in their art form. Writers
We invite writers to engage in a small group critique led by facilitators who have exhibited longevity in their chosen genre. Writers Feedbacks are divided by genres, and are hosted both in person and virtually.
Songwriters
We invite songwriters to engage with one another in small groups. Each group is led by experienced facilitators to explore strengths and growth in an encouraging environment. Songwriters Feedback is hosted online and in person, and all genres and skill levels are welcome.
Performing Arts
Feedback for Actors is held 2-3 times a year and offers a space for actors to receive feedback on a monologue of their choice, as well as experience doing a cold read with fellow participants.
Feedback for Script writers is held 2-3 times per year and is an opportunity for playwrights and screenwriters to hear their work read by actors and to receive feedback from their peers.
Visual Artists
Visual artists are invited to engage in a small group critique, led by talented facilitators, to explore how to improve a work, or works, in progress, and grow as an artist. Visual Artist Feedback is virtual.
Virtual Feedbacks
Even when Art House Dallas decided to move all of its programming online during the events of 2020, every single feedback workshop has remained full and vibrant. We are committed to keeping parts of our Feedback program online so that the community from all over the world that has found Art House Dallas can keep attending.
