Visual Artist Feedback (Virtual)

FEEDBACK [feed-bak] – noun: a reaction or response to a particular process or activity.

Anyone who has explored the creative process understands the value of feedback. Exposing our “works in progress” to the critique of our peers certainly takes courage, but feedback can also take our creative endeavors from average to excellent. Art House Dallas wants to provide an encouraging environment within a small group setting to explore your strengths and potential areas of growth as an artist. The evening includes a featured visual artist, facilitators who have exhibited a track record of success in their art form, and intentional groups that are limited to 6 artists.

Featured Artist: Russ Reed

Russ Reed has been painting for over 30 years and is especially interested in stories of transformation. His major creative influences include artists from the baroque era, especially Rembrandt, Rubens, and Zurbarán and also Lucian Freud's small portraits.

Russ’s neo-baroque body of work extends the understanding of the ancient narratives into the reality of our present day. This places Russ in the continuum of centuries of figural and narrative artists.

When not painting, Russ enjoys hanging out with his six wonderful children and their families, listening to jazz, and occasionally traveling with his wife Terri.
