THANK YOU
We all, as creators—patrons and artists—have something to contribute. In 2022 we worked toward building a community that recognizes the power of beauty and the capacity for transformation that beauty brings.
On Sunday, November 13th, we celebrated all that we’ve accomplished in 2022 with patrons, partners, and our community of volunteers. Art House Dallas works to foster a vibrant community, and we can’t do it alone. The leaders, patrons, and partners who have invested in Art House Dallas and the broader community are essential to our mission—creativity in our communities and for the common good.
The evening was full of artist talks and performances from Nick Shrader and Sara Groves. We hope you’ll join us next year for this annual gathering.
Sara Groves
Sara Groves is a 20+ year veteran singer/songwriter and recording artist with a passion for justice. Since 2005 she has been an artist advocate with International Justice Mission, a global organization that works to protect the poor from violence. At home in MN, Sara and her husband Troy run a unique community art center, Art House North, out of a 110 year old church where Sara has recorded her last two of 15 albums - Abide With Me, a collection of hymns, and Joy of Every Longing Heart (Christmas). Troy and Sara live in St Paul with their three children, Kirby, Toby and Ruby.
Featured Local Musician
Nick Schrader is a DFW native, born and raised in a large family. His musical journey began with taking piano lessons and singing in children's choir at his church. He eventually discovered a love for songwriting, and putting his personal prayers to music. Nick's highest hope is that his songs encourage the Body of Christ, resonating with all the saints in the room, the joyful and the jaded. In all honesty, he has found himself being both in his own walk with Jesus. Nick prays that all of his music reminds those listening that following the Lord can be confusing, but it’s worth every penny we spend.
