Our Visual Art Awaken Creativity group is a committed group of visual artists from varying disciplines that meets together each month for community, encouragement, and refining their craft. This gallery show, inspired by this year’s Origin series, On Mortality, features art created by 18 artists as they have meditated on the theme and journeyed together in their process and practice.
The exhibit is on view from Sunday, October 22 until Saturday, November 4, at the Umbrella Gallery in Deep Ellum. Please see below for reception dates and more information.
The purchase of work in the gallery supports both the artists and the work of Art House Dallas, 30% of the proceeds from the sale of the work will be donated to Art House Dallas programming. All purchased pieces will be able to be taken home at the Artist Reception on November 4.
