At For the Love of Words, writers of all genres gather for the sake of community, discussion, and growth. Every writer hangs words in their just position to give space to the world seen within. Only the right words will do and serve that world well. This gathering is exclusively for writers and those who love words. These gatherings feature local authors and writers who present their work and experience and offer an opportunity to meet other local writers.
The evening will begin with time to meet and discuss writing with fellow attendees, move into live readings from our featured authors, then close with an artist panel. Hor d'oeuvres, wine, and beer will be served.

Featured Writers:
Sara Hill
Sara Hill is a wife, mother, registered nurse and writer. Though she was born in Texas, she moved overseas at a young age. The beautiful, dramatic, tropical archipelago of Indonesia quickly became her home. She has since transplanted herself back into the US. She fell in love with a Texas-boy and they are currently raising three rascally, wild, beautiful children.
Though a nurse by profession and author by trade, my calling is to push back the darkness and watch as Jesus saves lives. He has called me to partake in the difficult and sweet task of the harvest. What a joy it has become to watch my Savior work! I'm just along for the ride. What an adventure it is to follow Jesus!
Tasha Hutchison
Tasha Hutchison resides in Texas where she owns and operates Wordy Writer, LLC to help other authors with their writing journeys. Tasha discovered her love for books at a young age when she would read with her mother before bedtime. Her love for writing was actually realized when her mother used writing as a tool to refocus her dramatic moments in more creative ways. Since then, writing has never been optional. Like eating and breathing, it's something integral to her existence.
Broken Petals is Tasha’s first novel with a focus of giving readers hope in any situation in an unforgettable way.
