FEEDBACK [feed-bak] – noun: a reaction or response to a particular process or activity.
Anyone who has explored the creative process understands the value of feedback. Exposing our “works in progress” to the critique of our peers certainly takes courage, but feedback can also take our creative endeavors from average to excellent. Art House Dallas wants to provide an encouraging environment within a small group setting to explore your strengths and potential areas of growth as an artist. The evening includes a featured visual artist, facilitators who have exhibited a track record of success in their art form, and intentional groups that are limited to 6 artists.

Featured Guest Artist: Bree Smith
Multipassionate fine artist and entrepreneur Bree Smith indulges her inner child through curiosity and experimentation. Through the eyes of female space explorers, she creates imaginary spacescapes and examines pop culture of the future through her portrayal of her vibrant astronaut subjects. She is inspired by her late father’s love for science fiction and constructs her own version of the future to make connections between generations across time.
Based out of her home studio in Carrollton, Texas, Bree works as a software design consultant by day, and spends her nights and weekends creating art and designing clothes and accessories for her eco-friendly slow fashion brand, Planet Joy, that she launched in 2021. She has a BFA in Studio Art from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and her work has been collected throughout the U.S. and in Canada. She has been interviewed and featured by several publications, including The Create! Magazine Podcast, Dallas Style & Design Magazine, and PIKCHUR Magazine. Bree’s work has been featured as part of the Deep Ellum Streetlight Banner program in 2020, and she also completed her first mural in Deep Ellum in April 2021.
