Texas grants and resources
DEEP VELLUM EMERGENCY FUND FOR TEXAS LITERARY ARTISTS: Submissions for the first round of grants are due on June 1 at 5 pm CST. Grants will be at least $200 in size and will be administered based on financial need. Grants recipients will not be under contract to Deep Vellum.
TEXAS MUSIC OFFICE: Official listing of available grants, loans, and unemployment resources for artists.
CREATIVE INDUSTRY RELIEF FUND (FORT WORTH): Hear Fort Worth and Film Fort Worth with assistance from United Way of Tarrant County have established a creative industry relief fund to help support musicians, artists, performers and filmmakers who have lost work due to COVID-19.
NASHER ARTIST MICROGRANTS: Nasher Sculpture Center Artist Microgrants are small-sum awards of up to $2000 offered to artists to further their personal or professional development.
TALA EMERGENCY RELIEF OPPORTUNITIES: Along with offering updated resources, TALA is waiving the membership fee for artists and arts organizations suffering financial hardship due to the coronavirus. New coronavirus related cases will be matched with a pro bono attorney on a one-off basis. Financial qualifications are still in place; however, if you've recently seen a rapid decline in income you will most likely qualify. Fill out the application here.
TACA EMERGENCY ARTS RELIEF FUND: Provides short-term immediate relief to Dallas County nonprofit arts organizations experiencing a loss in revenue or increased expenses due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
