A Million Miles From Home contains poetry written by Guy Martin Delcambre, an Art House Dallas leader. This short chapbook focuses on the theme of belonging and the growing distance of the heart from home. Art House Dallas published Guy’s poetry collection in conjunction with its 8th Anniversary Fundraiser in October of 2018. A few alternative titles given to the collection also serve as descriptions for the collection: why we can no longer be ourselves due to an insatiable desire to be better, why home is no more a place of happiness but more like factories for human progress, and the phenomena of home divorced from the human heart and resettled in our psyche. All proceeds from the sale of this chapbook go to benefit Art House Dallas and its programing.
