Deploy

About Deploy

Art House Dallas believes that beauty holds a powerful ability to infuse and preserve hope within society and help establish a person's place in the world. We both individually and collectively make sense of our stories and form our identities through the arts and artistic expression.

As the landscape for arts funding and exposure continues to diminish, children and youth lose the opportunity to develop their imaginations and artistic ability. Without arts education, individuals lose the ability to imagine greater possibilities and exist with a diminished view of what is possible because of what they have experienced.

Due to funding cuts and divergent socio-economic factors, the absence of experienced local artists and arts exposure means under resourced populations have fewer opportunities to engage with the arts.

Here’s How You Can Help

Through the Deploy program, Art House Dallas connects local artists with underserved communities enabling them to share their creativity, experience, and passion with those who have little or no exposure to the arts and artistic expression.

Over spring break and summer months, Deploy provides youth and children with access to supplies, time set aside to develop imagination, and space for material exploration through guided workshops in our focus areas: music, visual arts, and writing.

Whether you are a full-time artist, someone who loves to create in your spare time, or is passionate about serving the broader community – Deploy allows you to share the vital joy of creation with others. Click below to sign up to volunteer or support Deploy through a donation.

Community Partners

With the belief that communities grow stronger when we work together, Art House Dallas implements the Deploy program through collaborative partnerships with organizations already working directly with underserved populations.

In 2024 Deploy is partially funded through a grant from the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture.
